About Rye Park Nursery
We are a Hertfordshire County Council Maintained Nursery School registered for children aged 2-5 years old.
We have extensive purpose built buildings and rich provision, set in lovely grounds, with plentiful access to outside learning. We offer a range of services and work closely with other providers to ensure that our children gain the best support possible during their time with us at the school.
We have an onsite Family Centre led by OneYMCA. We also commission Mrs Sarah Dunne (Speech and Language Therapist) to support our children speech and language development needs across the school.
‘Robins’ is our Pre-school room, which offers specialist provision for our 2 and 3 year olds. Robins room operates in term-time and offers either morning or afternoon sessions (and full day sessions from September 2023). Some 2 year old children are eligible for up to 15 hours of free early education per week. Please speak to Mrs Helen Blay, our pre- school manager, if you think your child might be eligible for this. We also offer places to fee paying parents at £6 per hour. Please complete an application form so that we can add your child's name to our waiting list.
The Nursery rooms provide 15 hours per week of free early education for ALL 3-4 year olds in term time. We offer 3 hours per day for five days a week in either the morning or afternoon session. We have three intakes a year – September, January* and Easter* (*subject to places being available). Please apply directly to the school for a place.
We welcome visits to the school, please contact the school office if you would like to come and meet us and see our amazing provision.
Additional provision offered at the school includes 30 hours Free Early Education for eligible working parents.
